How this site handles your data

Your files never leave your device

Every tool on this site - the background remover and the image converter - runs entirely in your browser using the HTML canvas element. When you upload or drop a file, it is read and processed locally on your own device. It is never sent to a server, never stored, and VSL Media never has access to it.

What we do collect

Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, timestamp) are recorded for security and reliability purposes, the same as almost any website. We do not use these logs to identify individuals.

Advertising

This site does not currently show advertising. If Google AdSense is added in future, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads, which can include using data to personalise ads based on your visits to this and other sites. This page will be updated with full details, including how to opt out, before any ads go live.
